CHINA SOURCING / MODULAR BUILDINGS

Choose modules around the occupied spaceAries Building Systems

Use, climate and site access influence modular procurement more than a catalogue label. Start with the people, equipment and connections that the building must accommodate. The following selection notes describe planning paths; they are not project approvals or supplier performance claims.

Application requirements to compare

Construction and remote offices

A relocatable building (RB) can suit repeated deployments, but crane access, lifting point checks and maintenance after relocation need attention. Compare complete volumetric modular construction with panelized alternatives: greater supplier preassembly can reduce site tasks, while larger shipping envelopes may restrict routes and lifting arrangements.

Education and training

Permanent modular construction (PMC) calls for coordinated fire, acoustic and accessibility review. Record clear circulation, ventilation and usable room dimensions. A nominal module footprint is not the occupied area after partitions and services. Local permit responsibility cannot be transferred to a product brochure.

Healthcare support spaces

Specify whether the use is administrative, welfare or clinical before requesting finishes and utilities. Clinical use requires specialist assessment beyond generic modular procurement. Ask for cleanable junction details, ventilation interfaces and service access, with acceptance criteria agreed by the project specialists.

Energy and public service sites

Remote deployment makes the foundation interface, corrosion exposure and supply connections consequential. Record galvanized coating mass, repair procedures at cut edges and maintenance access. Painted steel may support flexible repairs; galvanized assemblies still need attention at welded or damaged locations.

A selection checklist with measurable questions

For illustration only, a comparison sheet might request wind speed of 45 m/s, snow load of 1.5 kN/m² and panel thickness of 50–100 mm. These are example RFQ entries, not offered ratings or design recommendations. An engineer must establish the actual values, load combinations and test conditions for the site.

Compare EPS sandwich panel, PIR sandwich panel and rock wool sandwich panel options by declared U-value, system-level fire resistance rating, mass and moisture exposure. Lower panel conductivity does not eliminate a thermal bridge at steel connections. Core descriptions alone do not establish the wall assembly performance.

Verification path: identify the assembly and report revision, confirm specimen build-up and laboratory method, then have the responsible professional compare test conditions against the proposed installation. Request raw result pages and limitations rather than a single marketing badge. Transport capacity and local labour availability remain separate constraints.

Describe the use before the model

Send occupancy, floor area, storeys, country, climate criteria and destination port. We can coordinate supplier options and request missing evidence, while manufacturing, design acceptance and local compliance stay with the appointed suppliers and professionals.

Send drawings or document references in your brief; attachment exchange can be arranged after contact. Read our Privacy Policy before submitting.
